窯の温度が1150～1200℃になる頃、引き出しを行います。引き出し黒と呼ばれるやきもので、窯から作品を火ばさみで引っ張り出し、水をくぐらせ、急冷させることで鮮やかな黒が際立ったやきものとなります。
When the temperature of the kiln reaches 1,150-1,200 °C, the pottery piece is removed from the kiln. This is a technique called Hikidashi-guro (drawing black), in which the pottery work is removed from the kiln with fire tongs, passed through water, and cooled rapidly to create vivid black pottery.
