Tea ceremony

茶道は、心を落ち着けて、抹茶の味や香り、その場の空間を味わうこと。おもてなしの心や、茶道具の美、伝統的な作法など体験していただきます。茶道は、元来「茶湯」呼ばれていました。その後、千利休は「数寄道」、古田織部は「茶湯」、小堀遠州は「茶の道」という単語を使いました。現在の「茶道」と呼ばれるようになったのは、江戸時代前期のことです。
